EASTERN MARKET POTTERY has offered classes in pottery making on Capitol Hill since 1968. The classes we offer four nights a week are taught by skilled potters with rich and varied backgrounds. Instruction is individualized to meet the needs of students at all skill levels. Our small and informal classes provide a relaxed atmosphere for learning, making pottery, and making new friends.

OUR NEW STUDIO
Since July of 2009, we've been back inside Eastern Market. This has been a real Homecoming for us. Our new 1100 square foot studio is in the south end of the Market basement. We have two new kilns and the studio is air-conditioned. The studio entrance is in the C Street stairwell of South Hall.
