Our staff is a talented group of potters with many years of pottery-making and teaching experience.

CHUCK BROME
Owner since 1974, Chuck began his pottery career here in 1971 as studio assistant and instructor. In 1979, he set up a studio at his Virginia home and continues to make and sell pottery there.

SUSAN JACOBS
Studio Manager and instructor, Susan is also full-time Resident Artist at the Pottery. Susan started work here in 1973 as studio assistant.

ELLEN JAFFE
An instructor here since 1980, Ellen has been making pots here since 1976.

AUDREY JONES
Instructor since 1995, Audrey started here with a class in 1979. She has studied since at Penland School of Crafts and Peters Valley Craft Center.

LYNN MURPHY
Studio monitor and assistant since 2002, Lynn began with us as a student potter in 1992.
